This edition will start at the end of school holidays and will end on saturday to let you a whole sunday to recover before work:)

306 players from 22 different countries, 12 Grandmasters and 23 Masters had been part of last year’s edition 2016 !

The biggest and strongest tournament in FRANCE during Christmas time (all the results can be found on the right side column.

We are expecting even more of you players for this 14th edition !

Official FFE rated tournaments (A,B,C,D) and FIDE rated (A,B,C)

Fighting rule : draws by mutual agreement are forbidden

As every year, the best performances will be rewarded for every round

Very strong A tournament (over 1900 elo) for 5 days : final rankings of 2016

Players rated between 1900 and 2000 elo can choose between A or B tournaments.

A number of Masters and Grandmasters will be participating, making IM and GM norms possible.

9 rounds with a time control of 90 min + 30 sec per move for each player.

First prize : 1500 euros + many other prizes for general ranking, best females, youngsters, veterans, by elo categories… (your presence will be compulsory at the prize ceremony in order for you to take your prize)

Tuesday : All players must come to the playing hall before 12 to confirm their presence to the arbiters. The 1st round will begin right after that.

Round 2 will start around 17h30

Wednesday, thursday, friday : 2 rounds every day, at 10.00 then 16.00

Saturday : Round 9 will start at 10.00 and the prize ceremony around 16.00

B tournament (under 2000 elo and without any lower limit) for 5 days : final rankings of 2016

Players rated under 1600 elo can choose between B and C tournaments.

9 rounds with a time control of 90 min + 30 sec per move for each player.

First prize : 500 euros + many other prizes for general ranking, best females, youngsters,veterans, by elo… (your presence will be compulsory at the prize ceremony in order for you to take your prize)

From thursday 4th to saturday 6th of january, 9 rounds with a time control of 50 min + 10 sec per move.

Nice prizes, books, trophees , medals… (your presence will be compulsory at the prize ceremony in order for you to take your prize)

Thursday : All players must come to the playing hall before 12 to confirm their presence to the arbiters. The 1st round will begin right after that. Round 2 at 14.30, round 3 at 17.00

Friday : round 4 at 10.30, round 5 at 14.30, round 6 at 17.00

Saturday : round 7 at 9.00, round 8 at 11.15 and round 9 at 13.30
